MF 240 raising RPM will cause lift arms to fall when in the full raised position

mf 240 flow control Problems

I have a Massey Ferguson 240. At idle, the lift goes up and down, but as the revs increase, the lift arms drop when in the fully raised position. I had a similar experience a few months ago and drained the hydraulic fluid and cleaned the suction screen and it worked again. There was no water in the fluid and it has been changed twice since I have it. The last time it was due to not responding to the lift of the elevator as well as this time. The fluid has always seemed very clean, however last time I removed and cleaned the screen and there was some debris on the screen but not “clogged” It is too expensive to maintain fluid drain @ $ 65 / 5gsl. So I would like to know if I am on the right track.

The problem is like a flow control between the pump and the three-point. The lowering valve can’t handle the extra volume, and it pours out the oil.
